Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment and be able to utilize computerized systems such as MS Office and SAP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee production associates and ensure efficient production operations
  • Collaborate with maintenance, warehouse, and quality control functions to achieve daily objectives
  • Operate as the primary site leader during off-hours schedule
  • Manage employee issues such as attendance monitoring and performance goals
  • Regularly audit work of team to ensure it meets expectations for safety, quality, and productivity
  • Measure and report the effectiveness of department goals and activities
  • Train and coach on appropriate methods regarding safety, quality, and work processes


Requirements

  • Previous supervisor/manager experience (2+ years) in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Competency and confidence utilizing applicable computerized systems such as MS Office and SAP
  • Physical effort and dexterity: frequent sitting, standing, bending/twisting of neck and waist, squatting and kneeling; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects from floor, conveyor, vehicle, table, or overhead location
