Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Communication Professor to join our team at the N.C. Community College System. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in our Communication program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective instruction in assigned Communication courses.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and assessment strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and submit reports as required.
  • Participate in college events and activities.
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in teaching and learning.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Communication or a related field.
  • At least two years of teaching experience.
  • Ability to use technology to support instruction and student learning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of college teaching experience in Communication.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, 9-month position. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the growth and development of our students and programs.
