Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and Board Eligible/Board Certified Endocrinology Specialist to become a vital part of our hospital-affiliated multispecialty team.
Office Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Call Responsibilities:
Limited call responsibilities include:
- No emergency room call
- Minimal inpatient call
- Outpatient call for urgent matters only, shared with Family Practice physician (via answering service)
Patient Load:
Approximately 30 patients per day.
Anticipated Procedures:
Office procedures may include:
- Ultrasound Guided Fine Needle Aspiration for Thyroid Biopsy
Practice Expectations:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is eager to make a significant impact in a community with a pressing need for endocrinology services. Our community has a substantial population of diabetic patients, along with various thyroid and other endocrine disorders requiring specialized care.
Currently, there is no Endocrinologist on our Medical Staff, leading to many patients seeking treatment outside our service area. We are committed to providing comprehensive endocrinology services, including:
- Management of complex diabetic patients
- Insulin pump therapy
- Thyroid, adrenal, parathyroid, pituitary, and osteoporosis management
- Expertise in thyroid ultrasound and fine needle thyroid biopsy
