At Donaldson, we're committed to solving the world's most complex filtration challenges. As an Assembly Technician - Aerospace, you'll play a critical role in the fabrication of aerospace and defense filtration components. Your technical and mechanical skills will be put to the test as you efficiently perform tasks such as close tolerance hole drilling, countersinking, fastener installation, rivet installation, trimming, and assembly. You'll also be responsible for conducting in-process inspections using micrometers, rulers, and calipers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble engine air filtration systems for aircraft
  • Ensure compliant manufacture and workmanship of assemblies, as defined by engineering data and plant procedures
  • Work with and around a variety of chemicals and follow all standards regarding PPE
  • Interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and other documents to ensure proper build completion
  • Effectively document job completion paperwork
  • Accurately and efficiently manage records and timekeeping
  • Other duties as required

Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant license a plus, but not required
  • Military experience is a plus
