Work Schedule: Full-time, exempt; Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (additional hours may be required).
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate process and product enhancements focused on customer satisfaction.
- Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Engage with various departments to address customer applications and production requirements.
- Create standard operating procedures and detailed work instructions.
- Contribute to the phases of new product lines aimed at cost-effective production.
- Employ statistical techniques for quality enhancement and cost reduction.
- Assist manufacturing teams during the implementation of improvements.
- Promote safety advancements within the workplace.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
- 1-3 years of experience in coating or paper converting preferred.
- Proficient in MS-Office and CAD software.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean principles.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities.
- Strong analytical, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Attention to detail and a solid attendance record.
