Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair medical devices used for the delivery of healthcare.
  • Ensure that medical equipment is in good working condition and meets regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve equipment-related issues and provide technical support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical technology and advancements through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience working in a technical setting, preferably in a hospital or medical device industry.
  • Certification as a Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with medical device software and hardware.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and guidelines for medical equipment.
