LPN Relief Position

Berkshire Family and Individual Resources, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN to provide support to individuals with disabilities in a home setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks
  • Provide medical treatment beyond the scope of a MAP certified direct care staff
  • Work closely with individuals to help them achieve independence and meet their personal goals
Requirements:
  • Licensed by the MA Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • 2 years of experience in the direct care of the elderly or disabled
  • Valid US driver's license and access to a vehicle
Physical and Mental Demands:

The position requires physical activity, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. The individual must be able to stand, walk, sit, drive, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, reach, handle, hear, see, and have depth perception.

The individual must also be able to interpret, communicate effectively, implement, evaluate, organize, handle, consult, analyze, specify, present, and supervise.

The position requires the ability to deal with stressful situations, trauma, grief, death, public contact, decision-making, and concentration.
