Job Title: Land Development Coordinator

GL Homes is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Land Development Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Land Development department, you will assist Land Development Managers with various administrative and accounting assignments, as well as manage a field office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bid Package Preparation: Prepare and coordinate bid packages, contracts, change orders, contractor applications for payments, permit applications, and new vendor packages.
  • Field Office Management: Manage a field office, including ordering and maintaining aerial photos, and tracking land development data.
  • Accounting and Invoicing: Code and enter monthly invoices into an accounting system, create release of liens, and check distribution.
  • Project Budgeting: Review and update monthly project budgets, and update manager's monthly projections.
  • Release of Surety Documents: Request and track release of surety documents.
  • Land Development Data Tracking: Track land development data, including addresses, due diligence, permits, surety, littoral monitoring, and soil reports.
  • Utility Meter Accounts: Open and track electrical utility meter accounts.
  • Office Administration: Maintain office equipment, order office supplies, and prepare and maintain all files (hard copy & electronic) and permit binders.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years working in construction and/or land development, or 1 year working in an accounting department of a related industry.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with working knowledge of accounts payable.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to multi-task and prioritize work functions, capable of independent and team work environments, strong detail-oriented work style, and accommodating and proactive attitude.
