We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Colleton Medical Center. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to analyze patient samples and provide accurate results.
- Operate and maintain complex laboratory equipment, including microscopes, spectrophotometers, and centrifuges.
- Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay current with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies.
- Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician by ASCP or AMT.
- Associates degree plus completion of an approved MLT program.
- Prefer hospital laboratory experience.
