We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate ABA Therapist to join our team at Lighthouse CH. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism and other special needs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Key Responsibilities- Implement ABA Therapy Techniques: Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to children, following individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
- Teach and Reinforce Skills: Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and behavioral skills in a supportive and structured environment.
- Foster Positive Relationships: Foster a positive and engaging therapeutic relationship with clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team members to review progress, address concerns, and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with parents/caregivers, providing updates on therapy goals, progress, and strategies for generalization of skills to the home setting.
- Document Progress: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions, including progress notes and data collection.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with individuals with autism is preferred, but not required.
