Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for developing creative and cost-competitive integration/validation/test solutions for new products at a system and sub-system level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with system engineering, manufacturing, and other teams to ensure that systems meet all requirements and ship on time.
  • Design and develop electrical systems, including high-speed digital circuits, analog circuits, micro-computers, FPGAs, and power switching circuits.
  • Work with mechanical and firmware design teams to ensure proper integration and validation of systems.
  • Participate in supplier design reviews, selections, and other related activities.
  • Drive reliability and quality into testing processes for all units shipped to customers.
  • Ensure technical reviews occur in accordance with company processes.
  • Produce system specifications and test acceptance documentation.
  • Support factory testing activities as needed.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in electrical design engineering, with a focus on system integration and PCB design.
  • Experience with Altium for electrical circuit design and PCB board layout.
  • Strong knowledge of FPGA design and layout.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Local candidate preferred, with a willingness to work 5 days onsite.
