Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for developing creative and cost-effective integration/validation/test solutions for new products at a system and sub-system level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with system engineering team and manufacturing to ensure that systems meet all requirements and ship on time.
  • Design and develop high-speed digital circuits, analog circuits, micro-computer, FPGA, and power switching circuits.
  • Work closely with mechanical and firmware design teams to ensure proper integration and validation of systems.
  • Participate in supplier design reviews, selections, and other related activities.
  • Drive reliability and quality into the testing processes of all units shipped to customers.
  • Ensure that technical reviews occur in accordance with company processes.
  • Produce system specification and test acceptance documentation.
  • Support factory testing activities as needed.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in electrical design engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of Altium and PCB board layout.
  • Experience with FPGA layout/design is a must.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Local candidate preferred, with a willingness to work 5 days onsite.
