Department: Emergency Department

Shift Timing: Monday to Friday, 3 days, 12-hour shifts

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Implement and oversee patient care strategies. Monitor, document, and communicate patient status as necessary.
  • Act as the primary liaison among various disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
  • Execute physician and nursing directives.
  • Evaluate and coordinate the discharge planning needs of patients with the healthcare team.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • ER/RN with recent experience, valid license, and credentials including ACLS, BLS, MAB, NIHSS, PALS, and proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
  • Flexible shift availability: 3 PM - 3 AM and 7 PM - 7 AM.
  • Familiarity with Epic software preferred.
Qualifications:
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Certification from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) certification.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Commitment to patient care.
  • Minimum of two years of current RN experience in an Emergency Room setting.
  • One year of Telemetry RN experience.
  • TNCC certification.
  • PALS certification.
  • Graduate from an accredited RN program.
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in Tennessee.
  • One year of experience with Epic.
Requirements:
  • COVID-19 vaccination with two shots and a booster.
