At Prisma Health, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and service. As a Distribution Center Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of products from receipt to shipment, supporting our mission to inspire health and serve with compassion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fulfill requisitions and distribute items to automated conveyor lines using Voice/Carousel Technology
- Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in merchandise
- Move materials from receiving or storage areas to shipping or pick locations, sorting and placing items based on system configuration
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to packing stations or shipping departments
- Operate hand trucks, carts, dollies, and walkies to transport stored items from warehouse locations for shipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established distribution standards
- Assist in counting physical inventory and daily cycle counts
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat, and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
Work Environment:
Evening shift, Materials Distribution Center, 7001 Corporate, Supply Chain Distribution Center
