Registered Nurse Cath Lab Specialist

The Registered Nurse Cath Lab Specialist will provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures in the catheterization laboratory. This role requires strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring safety and comfort during procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Supervise and provide feedback to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
- RN licensure in the State of Texas or a Compact State.
- Minimum of Diploma in Nursing required.
- CCRN or Cardiac Specialty Nursing Certification.
- Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and intra-aortic balloon pumping.
- Ability to manage a team and work collaboratively with others.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
