Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough reviews and processing of Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct in-depth research, analysis, and resolution of system-generated alerts to identify potential suspicious activity.
  • Monitor daily reporting of new account activity to ensure adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Member Identification Program requirements.
  • Research and respond to regularly scheduled information-sharing requirements under the USA PATRIOT Act and maintain accurate documentation of all pertinent information.
  • Provide OFAC reviews of potential matches escalated from other departments throughout the day.
  • Adhere to compliance standards set forth by SCCU's policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards and current best practices in Bank Secrecy Act, Money Laundering, and OFAC compliance.
Requirements
  • Two-year degree or equivalent banking experience required.
  • Certification in relevant areas, such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML) or Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF), is preferred.
  • 3-5 years prior experience in a financial institution with 1-3 years prior experience in BSA, compliance, or auditing area required.
Work Environment
  • Must be available Monday - Friday 8:00am- 5:30pm.
  • Work from Home eligible role - Must be in office 2 days a week.
