Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Floor Technician to join our team at Healthcare Services Group, Inc. As a key member of our cleaning operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of hard surfaces, including dusting, wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting.
  • Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and soiled linen in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Utilize protective gear and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Respond to paging system and complete assigned cleaning areas according to schedule.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive, respectful attitude towards residents, staff, and facility guests.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow instructions and perform routine tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, as required by state, local, and/or customers.
