Position Overview:
As a Cardiothoracic Surgical Nurse, your primary focus will be on providing exceptional care to patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will work within a comprehensive Operating Suite consisting of seven operating rooms and three minor procedure rooms, delivering care during the intraoperative phase of the perioperative process. Your duties will include:
  • Utilizing the nursing process to ensure safe and effective patient care.
  • Documenting patient care accurately and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Communicating effectively with patients and healthcare teams regarding care plans.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Assisting in identifying and addressing challenges in nursing practice.

Work Environment:
This position may require you to take on either the scrub or circulating role, with support available as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hold a current, unrestricted nursing license.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
