Aerial Maintenance Specialist

The Aerial Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections of Company aircraft and articles in accordance with SkySkopes' policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety of company aircraft and guarantee all aircraft maintenance documentation is executed in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, and procedures.
Key ResponsibilitiesMain Responsibilities:
• Ensure the safety of company aircraft, including but not limited to airworthiness, regulatory compliance, sound maintenance practices, processes, and operations.
• Ensure all aircraft maintenance documentation is executed in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, and procedures, and applicable maintenance manuals.
• Actively participate in the continuous improvement of the company's Safety Management System (SMS) and be familiar with the SMS policies, processes, and procedures.
• Maintain work area in a clean and professional manner.
• Perform all other related duties as trained and/or assigned.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 3+ years of maintenance experience
• Experience working with turbine helicopters
• FAA A&P License in good standing
• Ability to pass a background and drug screen
• Valid Driver's License
• Preferred experience in factory airframe/power plant schools, FAR 135 operations, and experience working with Bell 407, Bell 206, Bell 505 preferred, Inspection Authorization (IA).
