About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Mercy. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Physical Therapists in the provision of physical therapy services to patients.
  • Perform physical therapy procedures and related tasks as delegated by the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Modify treatment procedures as needed to ensure patient safety and effectiveness.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide technical assistance and direction to Rehab Techs as needed.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant studies.
  • Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant from the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy.
  • American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support Certification.
