Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide is responsible for assisting clients with personal hygiene and household tasks, enabling them to remain in their homes comfortably.

Specific Duties

 - Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and oral care.
- Provide support with mobility, including transferring clients from beds to chairs or wheelchairs.
- Report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate supervisor.
- Safely operate a vehicle when travel is necessary for client care.
- Help with essential household tasks related to the client's personal care.

Qualifications

Experience Required

 - Preferred six months of experience in home care.
- Successful completion of a competency evaluation.

Licensing Requirements

 - Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
- Current CPR certification.

Skills Required

 - Ability to work flexible hours to meet client needs.
- Capacity to adapt to diverse home environments regardless of client demographics.
- Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills.
