Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our dynamic team of wellness professionals at The Mansions at Alpharetta, a premier Assisted Living and Memory Care community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer nursing services and oversee the delivery of quality care to residents.
  • Direct, plan, and coordinate the services and activities of professional nursing and auxiliary nursing personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, accepted clinical standards, and community policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and manage nursing and personal care associate services provided to residents.
  • Provide nursing services to residents, including resident instruction, wellness counseling, health promotion, and disease prevention.
  • Verify resident medication regimens with physicians or healthcare practitioners.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with federal and state laws and regulations regarding assisted living and memory care.
Qualifications
  • Must be a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse licensed to practice in the state.
  • Minimum of two years of full-time clinical experience in nursing, with at least one year in a home healthcare agency or community health program.
  • Experience and passion in working with seniors.
  • Able to perform tasks that may be physically demanding, such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 60 pounds.
  • Able to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and other staff members.
