About the Role

This is a critical position that plays a vital role in the success of our retail stores. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will work closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, provide expert advice on Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the right solutions to meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure maximum client satisfaction
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone to determine their needs and present appropriate products and services
  • Build strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with company policies and procedures
  • Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Maintain precise work order files and formulas
  • Pull and stock products from the sales floor or warehouse
  • Tint and mix products to customer specifications
  • Load and unload delivery trucks
  • Assist with deliveries as needed
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition of assigned areas
  • Stay up-to-date on products offered and discuss available options with customers
  • Comply with inventory control procedures
  • Suggest ways to improve sales and customer experience
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a valid, unrestricted driver's license
  • Be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status
  • Be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
  • Be able to tint paint consistent with customer color requests
  • Be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have at least a high school diploma or GED
  • Have at least one year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
  • Be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
  • Be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
