Overview:

$25.00 / hour

Oversee and ensure the cleanliness of guest accommodations and communal spaces. Lead Team Leaders and Housekeeping staff to uphold cleanliness benchmarks.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and guarantee the cleanliness of guest rooms and public spaces. Confirm that all accommodations are thoroughly cleaned and inspected before guest arrival.
  • Deliver training, mentorship, and performance evaluations for associates; escalate disciplinary matters as necessary and provide supporting documentation for actions such as discipline, promotion, demotion, and termination.
  • Assist in the formulation and management of the annual departmental budget; implement adjustments (labor, ODC, COG) throughout the year to achieve departmental objectives. Make daily adjustments and recommendations for labor levels based on attendance and sales to meet departmental targets.
  • Review daily, weekly, and monthly departmental documentation and reports. Complete all necessary reports related to break and meal schedules, location schedules, and inventory management, while ensuring adequate supplies, linens, and equipment are maintained.
  • Provide guest service in alignment with Knott's Berry Farm standards when interacting with guests or collaborating with team members, including initiating guest interactions, addressing inquiries, and providing directions.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety in designated work areas, adhering to safety guidelines and reporting any unsafe or unusual conditions to management.
  • Conduct management inspections to verify that team leaders and associates are meeting cleanliness standards.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1-3 years of prior leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintaining hotel aesthetics.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as required by business needs.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to fulfill business requirements.
