Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite. As a key member of our respiratory therapy team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children with respiratory conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and medication administration.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop plans to improve their condition.
  • Operate and maintain complex respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen concentrators.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
Requirements
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • GA Respiratory Care Professional license
  • Minimum 2 years of recent RRT experience, preferably in a pediatric setting
  • Experience with pediatric pharmacology and ventilation
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • EPIC charting experience
  • Knowledge of V-60, Servo-i, Drager, Hamilton T-1, Vapotherm, and Optiflow
  • Recent travel experience in pediatric respiratory therapy
