Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant II or EMT to join our team at Novir. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete vaccinations and biometric assessments with precision and accuracy
  • Support the delivery of patient care with basic nursing functions, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction
  • Greet clients with a warm and welcoming demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease
  • Address client inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, providing clear and concise information
  • Ensure all clinic procedures are adhered to and completed in a timely manner, maintaining a high level of efficiency and productivity
  • Assist with phlebotomy duties, including collecting blood specimens and processing samples according to laboratory guidelines
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry and billing, with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients, ensuring a positive and memorable experience
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or current, active license to practice in Colorado, or certified EMT
  • Phlebotomist certification preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in an MA or EMT role, with a strong ability to communicate effectively across teams and clients
  • Ability to use Word, Excel, Email, Internet, and in-house systems
  • Ability to drive between multiple clinic sites and have responsibility for various sites
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 25 pounds regularly
  • Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day
  • Must be able to stand most of the day on concrete or hard floors
  • Physical ability to work around children
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrist, hands, and/or fingers
  • Physically traveling from one work site to another

Compensation: $21-$26 an hour

Duration: 8-12 weeks
