Job Title: Therapist - Youth and Family

We are seeking a skilled Therapist - Youth and Family to join our team at Friends of Youth. As a key member of our behavioral health team, you will provide clinical counseling services to youth and families, including mental health assessments, short and long-term therapy, case management, and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide evidence-based and culturally responsive therapeutic interventions and services to youth and their families.
  • Administer mental health assessments, provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Provide crisis interventions to clients, as needed.
  • Maintain direct service hours at 60% of total weekly work hours.
  • Diagnose mental health conditions in accordance with the most recently published DSM, as needed.
  • Provide clinical groups focused on a variety of topics.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in a human service field.
  • Licensed with the State of Washington as an LICSW/LSWAIC, LMHC/A, or LMFT/A.
  • Minimum of 1 year working with children, youth, and/or families.
  • Must satisfactorily pass criminal background check, including fingerprints.
  • Must satisfactorily pass tuberculosis (TB) test.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle, a valid Washington State driver's license, auto liability insurance, and a safe driving record as defined by Friends of Youth.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (no exemption or waivers).
