Job Description:

Broadcom Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Digital IC Design Engineer to join the Data Center Solutions Group.

This position involves writing high-quality RTL code in Verilog and/or SystemVerilog format to execute functions called out by an engineering design specification.

The RTL will then be verified using simulation tools, according to test-plans, functional and code coverage, as well as emulation platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze high-level architecture specifications and generate electronic design specifications, including micro-architecture development.
  • Implement high-quality, high-performance Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL code from design specifications, including areas such as asynchronous clock domain crossings, multiple power domains, low-power design, and integrating third-party IP.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Verification, Firmware, and Systems Engineering, to deliver detailed testing strategies and usage models.
  • Document RTL code and verification environments to reflect functionality.
  • Design logic related to NVMe and PCIe specifications, as well as general datapath function coding.
  • Support the chip as it progresses through verification, emulation, and validation.
Requirements:
  • BS degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and 12+ years of related experience or MSEE degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and 10+ years of related experience.
  • Digital design product development experience.
  • Expertise with tools and methodologies used in digital design and verification.
  • Proven teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with NVMe and PCIe is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:

The annual base salary range for this position is $141,000 - $225,000.

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
