About Our Client

Our client is a prominent manufacturer specializing in precision machined and lightly assembled products across various sectors, including Aerospace, Medical Devices, and Oil & Gas. The company is experiencing significant growth, with plans to increase revenue substantially and expand through acquisitions nationwide. This facility operates in a high mix/low volume manufacturing environment, focusing on highly engineered, custom products utilizing state-of-the-art machinery and technology.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead initiatives in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
  • Develop and implement process enhancements and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) for current and future manufacturing techniques
  • Participate as a senior member in New Product Introduction (NPI) meetings, offering insights on tooling, manufacturing, and processes
  • Oversee Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) for engineering projects
  • Support the Quality Control department and conduct run-offs for Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) parts to facilitate full production
  • Troubleshoot CNC operations and assembly manufacturing as required
  • Set up and debug CNC machine part programs
  • Identify Statistical Process Control (SPC) requirements for special dimensions to evaluate and summarize necessities in the manufacturing process

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
  • A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in Engineering, including at least 3 years in a Senior or Lead Engineer role
  • Proven ability to develop efficient and sustainable manufacturing processes for new products
  • Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) for manufacturing
  • In-depth technical knowledge of CNC machining processes, including milling, turning, Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM), and grinding
  • Strong understanding of the selection, procurement, and design of custom tooling and fixtures for machining operations
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base salary range of $130,000 - $160,000, commensurate with experience
  • Eligibility for a 10% annual bonus based on personal and company performance
