Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of speech and language development and disorders, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to goal setting and progress reviews.
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation, including assessment reports, therapy notes, and progress updates.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Pupil Services License.
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position based in Bedford, Ohio.
  • Work will primarily take place in school environments, including classrooms, therapy rooms, and offices.
  • Regular interaction with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Occasional travel to other schools within the district may be required.
