Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver - Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team. As a DSP, you will provide support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them to achieve their goals and live independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Participants with Daily Living Tasks: Assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and other daily living tasks to promote independence and well-being.
  • Develop Meaningful Relationships: Build strong relationships with participants, their families, and other support staff to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Provide Behavioral Support: Help participants manage behavioral challenges and develop strategies to promote positive behaviors.
  • Assist with Developmental Goals: Support participants in achieving their developmental goals, such as budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, and nutrition.
  • Work in a Variety of Settings: Provide care and support in group home facilities, clinics, and other community-based settings.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
  • Skills: Caregiver - Direct Support Professional (DSP)
  • Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
  • Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
