As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist clients in achieving their optimal physical well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being by providing treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Work in a home care setting, providing one-on-one care to adult and geriatric patients.
  • Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure or certification in the state of Virginia.
  • Graduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
