Role Overview:
As a Regional Security Intelligence Analyst at Control Risks, you will be instrumental in supporting a leading technology corporation. This role is embedded within the Global Security Intelligence division, focusing on the systematic collection, evaluation, and distribution of threat intelligence to various stakeholders within the organization.
Your primary focus will be on a designated geographical area, delivering comprehensive analyses and evaluations of local threats and trends, along with practical recommendations to mitigate potential risks.
The Regional Security Intelligence Analyst will play a vital role in shaping and sustaining the organization's threat intelligence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct daily threat monitoring and analysis for the client by utilizing Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) resources pertinent to the client's data centers.
2. Identify, observe, investigate, analyze, and issue alerts concerning emerging threats and trends globally that could influence the client's security strategies and operational stability.
3. Act as a central hub for gathering essential information needed for the evaluation of the client's security incident reports and suspicious activity logs on an international scale.
4. Visit client data centers to conduct threat assessments, gaining insights into the risks and threats associated with these sites.
5. Create well-informed, succinct, and relevant briefings and presentations tailored to diverse stakeholders and business requirements.
6. Engage in content and copy editing for threat monitoring and intelligence analysis outputs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of experience in threat intelligence and information gathering.
- Exceptional writing abilities with a strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven expertise in security analysis and risk assessments related to physical security or security operations and planning.
- Advanced research capabilities and proficiency in Open Source Intelligence (OSINT). Ability to think quickly and respond effectively during crisis situations.
- Familiarity with or capacity to rapidly master the Seerist platform.
