Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team in Virginia. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. They will be a strong team player, confident in leading a team, and able to implement evidence-based interventions using applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behavior changes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral issues and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions using applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behavior changes.
  • Collect and analyze data on client progress, ensuring accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support clients' needs in various settings, including home and school environments.
  • Provide training and supervision to staff and caregivers on behavior management strategies and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation related to client care and treatment outcomes.
Requirements
  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Hold an active licensure in the state of Virginia.
  • Strong team player and ability to lead.
  • A commitment to ethical practice in behavioral health services.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - 110,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including major medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and statutory sick pay where required.
