Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily life activities, including personal grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Prepare and maintain records to document client progress and services performed.
  • Guide and direct residents in maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Perform healthcare-related tasks, such as monitoring vital signs and medication, under the direction of a nurse.
  • Collect specimens, such as urine, feces, or sputum, for testing using proper receptacles and following safety precautions.
  • Clean and maintain all common areas, including corridors, lounges, reception areas, restrooms, storage and supply areas, floors, offices, and chapel.
  • Assist with food service, including preparing, serving, and cleaning up after meals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a high school diploma or equivalent and no prior experience necessary. Must be able to operate a computer for purposes of timekeeping, education, and/or successful completion of any duties requiring the use of a computer. Food handlers and Safe Serve certification required.
