Hart Medical Equipment Offers a Dynamic Respiratory Therapist Role
As a Respiratory Therapist at Hart Medical Equipment, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and support services. Our company is committed to excellence and strives to conduct our patient care operations with the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide preventative, diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services under the direction of a provider or by protocols.
- Coordinate and perform clinical respiratory services provided to customers.
- Deliver and instruct customers and/or caregivers on the proper and safe use of oxygen concentrators, liquid oxygen systems, cylinder oxygen systems, and respiratory items.
- Market and promote the clinical respiratory services of the company to referral sources and the healthcare community.
- Perform quality assurance and maintenance services on respiratory therapy items as described in the maintenance reference manuals.
- Instruct customers and/or caregivers on infection control procedures and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Coordinate and/or complete all equipment maintenance management records as required by the organization.
- Assist with obtaining all prescriptions and/or Certificate of Medical Necessity forms required for internal and external policies and regulations and for billing to insurance companies.
- Provide on-call services as required by the company.

Requirements:
- Current license in the State of Michigan.
- Graduates of accredited programs and/or one year of experience or a combination of both education and experience.
- Reliable transportation, a good driving record, and the ability to drive in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
