Hart Medical Equipment Offers a Dynamic Respiratory Therapist Role

As a Respiratory Therapist at Hart Medical Equipment, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and support services. Our company is committed to excellence and strives to conduct our patient care operations with the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide preventative, diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services under the direction of a provider or by protocols.
  2. Coordinate and perform clinical respiratory services provided to customers.
  3. Deliver and instruct customers and/or caregivers on the proper and safe use of oxygen concentrators, liquid oxygen systems, cylinder oxygen systems, and respiratory items.
  4. Market and promote the clinical respiratory services of the company to referral sources and the healthcare community.
  5. Perform quality assurance and maintenance services on respiratory therapy items as described in the maintenance reference manuals.
  6. Instruct customers and/or caregivers on infection control procedures and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
  7. Coordinate and/or complete all equipment maintenance management records as required by the organization.
  8. Assist with obtaining all prescriptions and/or Certificate of Medical Necessity forms required for internal and external policies and regulations and for billing to insurance companies.
  9. Provide on-call services as required by the company.

Requirements:

  1. Current license in the State of Michigan.
  2. Graduates of accredited programs and/or one year of experience or a combination of both education and experience.
  3. Reliable transportation, a good driving record, and the ability to drive in all weather conditions.
  4. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
