Job Title: Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

At Dental Care at Eagle Landing, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to join our team. As an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the clinical treatment of our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Organize and maintain lab equipment, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Take and develop X-rays, providing accurate and high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment.
  • Provide comprehensive post-operative dental procedures to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Assist the dentist in managing dental emergencies, providing timely and effective care.
  • Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to improve clinical skills and acumen.
Requirements:
  • Positive and outgoing personality, with exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent patient care skills, with a focus on providing a comfortable and reassuring experience for patients.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Superior working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
  • Good manual dexterity, with the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer proficiency, with the ability to learn new programs and software.
  • Ability to travel at least once every other month for training, occasionally overnight.
