**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Worker to join our team at Whitsons Culinary Group. As a Food Service Worker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to students and staff in accordance with menus and HHFKA guidelines
* Perform cleaning duties, including the cleaning of equipment and work areas, and dishwashing
* Set up hot and cold food areas, and check and store incoming supplies
* Attend all mandatory in-service programs and support the goals, objectives, and mission statement of Whitsons Culinary Group
* Use point-of-sale systems and handle cash transactions
* Perform heavy lifting and other physical demands of the job

**Requirements:**

* High school graduate or equivalent
* Ability to speak and read English in order to understand and perform job assignments
* Extensive physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling
* Exposure to extreme temperatures due to cooking and refrigeration equipment
* Ability to present a positive and professional image
* Basic English reading and writing skills

**Working Conditions:**

* Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:30 am - 1:30 pm, subject to change
* Pay rate: $15.00/hour
