**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **District Manager** to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the financial growth of our company by ensuring exceptional customer service, visual standards, and operational integrity across our district.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Leadership Attributes**
    • Deliver continuous performance feedback, motivate, train, and develop team members to meet current and future position requirements.
    • Foster a positive team environment by empowering team members to participate in company initiatives.
    • Provide department insight related to the customer experience and communicate information to Regional Manager and corporate office.
    • Utilize innovative and entrepreneurial mindset to develop creative strategies to drive topline results.
    • Drive employee engagement through consistent recognition and provide training and feedback to optimize team performance.
  • **Customer Experience**
    • Ensure all customer service standards are consistently executed and utilize company tools to better service the customer.
    • Motivate and coach store teams throughout the district to achieve personal and store sales goals and maintain customer focus.
    • Ensure store teams receive customer service and product knowledge training to strengthen selling skills.
  • **People & Development**
    • Attract top talent, build a high-performing team, and drive retention through promoting collaboration, providing a positive and rewarding atmosphere, and maximizing the success of the team.
    • Identify a talent pipeline by networking and building relationships within internal and external teams.
    • Provide training to develop individual and overall team skills and abilities.
    • Coach and mentor team members to achieve optimal results, including succession planning for current and future positions.
  • **Operational Standards**
    • Collect customer and market feedback, product information, and provide ongoing summaries and analysis to the Regional Manager.
    • Create and communicate clear action plans that optimize results focused on operational excellence and flawless execution.
    • Analyze the business and create/communicate SMART action plans that optimize results across the district.
    • Adhere to all policies and procedures and ensure compliance across the district.
  • **Visual Presentation/Store Maintenance**
    • Ensure brand integrity is upheld throughout the district and is reflected to the customer.
    • Ensure stores continually meet merchandising and maintenance standards.
    • Support store management teams in the planning and execution of store flips.
    • Provide necessary feedback to Corporate office and Field Visual teams to drive the business through visual merchandising.
    • Foster effective partnership with Field Visual Leader.
  • **Drive Results**
    • Partner with the Regional Manager to oversee the development and execution of sales strategies and profit goals.
    • Perform store KPI analysis, assess the results, adjust, and communicate sales strategies accordingly.
    • Manage payroll, margins, and communicate company pricing strategies.
    • Manage, train, and motivate existing sales teams to achieve and exceed both company and store benchmarked goals.
    • Lead with professionalism and behaviors guided by the Company Values.
  • **Experience, Skills & Knowledge**
    • 3-5 years of previous multi-unit management experience, preferably in apparel retail.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills supporting a team environment.
    • Strong English communication - verbal and written.
    • Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail.
    • Ability to recognize and react to changing work demands.
    • Comfortable and confident in making effective autonomous (and group) decisions in a timely manner.
    • Goal-oriented: ability to stay focused on creating winning results.
    • Dedicated to high levels of Customer Service and Sales Productivity.
    • Schedule flexibility to include evening and weekends where needed.
    • Ability to travel, conduct on-site store visits, and attend meetings as required.
