Job Description

Midas Tire & Auto Experts is seeking a seasoned Automotive Store Operations Manager to assume responsibility for the day-to-day operations of our store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Recruit, hire, train, motivate, evaluate, schedule, and coach employees to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by listening and consulting with customers, following up on services requested, and providing comprehensive recommendations.
  • Operations Management: Oversee complete vehicle inspections, build computerized repair orders, source parts, and deliver pricing estimates to customers.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory counts, investigate and resolve inventory losses, and ensure a clean and organized facility.
  • Financial Management: Oversee sales, accounting, and clerical functions, including payroll, record-keeping, and daily sales reporting.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of store or service manager experience in the automotive industry.
  • General automotive knowledge and excellent customer service disposition.
  • Good communication skills, strong POS computer and Internet skills, and leadership ability.
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license.
