About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in Salinas, California.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner. This includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and new developments in family practice nursing.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Nursing (unless already a Kaiser Permanente employee who was grandfathered in prior to California Business and Professions Code requirement in January 1, 2008)
  • Nurse Practitioner Certificate (California)
  • Registered Nurse License (California)
  • Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number (California)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) Level I required
