About the RoleThe LPN/CMA/RMA will be responsible for delivering nursing care to patients, directing others in patient care, and demonstrating the ability to deliver care based on patient needs appropriate to age and developmental level. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Deliver nursing care to patients, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing education and support to patients and families.
- Direct others in patient care, including CNAs and other support staff, to ensure that patients receive high-quality care.
- Participate in shared governance and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote patient safety and quality care.
- Collaborate with providers and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently, including entering data into medical records and completing paperwork as needed.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing and currently licensed to practice in the appropriate state.
- 12 hours of educational credit per year to maintain licensure and stay current with industry developments.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to ensure that patients receive high-quality care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
