Electromechanical Field Service Technician Job Description

At DOC Services Inc., we are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative and reactive maintenance services on electromechanical equipment within our target city and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures on equipment and provide effective solutions.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
  • Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair machines.
  • Respond to on-site preventative maintenance service calls within contract time frames.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and coworkers.
  • Other duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum two years of electromechanical equipment repair experience or a combination of training and experience.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; ability to read and understand schematics.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
  • Must have excellent people skills and always represent the Company in a positive manner.
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and drive for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work at heights of more than 6 ft.
