Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Representative to join our team at Shell Federal Credit Union. As a key member of our branch staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience in our lobby area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets and welcomes members, visitors, and vendors with a smile and offers direction to the appropriate area or team member.
  • Signs members into Better Lobby and provides an estimated wait time, if applicable.
  • Ensures members' sunglasses and hats are removed for security reasons prior to entering the branch.
  • Checks in on members when time permits and offers water and/or coffee.
  • Maintains a positive and high-energy environment in the branch.
  • Performs various administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
  • Works with the management team to send out important reminders, daily productivity, and other useful information to the team.
  • Updates marketing materials throughout the branch as needed.
  • Handles Credit Union popcorn days as assigned, including operating the machine, handing out popcorn, maintaining supplies, and cleaning the machine.
  • Maintains the branch lobby to keep it clean, clear of clutter, and presentable for all visitors.
  • Fills check stand supplies and marketing materials as needed throughout the branch.
  • Receives and distributes packages and/or deliveries as needed.
  • Assists the team with daily responsibilities as needed, including but not limited to following opening and closing procedures, daily balancing of the coin machine, and closing SDB vault.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Knowledge of Credit Union products and services.
  • Welcoming and helpful demeanor.
  • Professional verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an open-concept workspace/environment.
Working Conditions

Exposure to potential hazardous conditions, including robbery. Employees are to receive detailed instructions and procedures to be followed to minimize risk.
