Physician Educator Role

- Serve as an instructor in various Clinical Examination courses;
- Serve as instructor in the OPP course (12 hours/week - T/TH);
- Assist in supervision of OMS IV students at a clinic for underserved populations;
- Assist in Simulation Lab supervision on an as-needed basis;
- Interview prospective candidates for the College of Medicine (COM);
- Serve on Committees, as assigned and as Advisor to assigned students and at least one club;
- Provide, at minimum, two scholarly activity or research project yearly;
- Preparation of educational tools (A/V, demonstration models, lectures, lesson plans...etc.);
- Preparation of Clinical exercises that parallel real-life Clinic protocol and procedure...
To be considered for this position, you must have a D.O. degree, teaching experience in academia with 2-5 years' or more of experience practicing preferred. A FL medical license or ability to get a FL license is also required.
Estimated Salary$140,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
