Cardiology Physician Opportunity in West Coast Florida

Physician Empire is seeking a skilled Cardiology Physician to join our team on the West Coast of Florida. Located between Punta Gorda and Sarasota, this coastal area offers a unique blend of relaxation and professional growth opportunities.
Salary & Benefits
We offer a competitive base salary with additional incentives for performance, including a commencement bonus, WRVU incentive bonus, and potential quality incentives. We also provide assistance with medical education debt and a fellowship stipend.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be part of a well-established cardiology group consisting of 4 Interventional Cardiologists and supporting mid-levels. Our practice boasts an onsite diagnostic center with experienced technicians, a strong referral network, and office locations within walking distance of the hospital.
With satellite locations expanding patient capture, you'll have ample opportunities to grow your practice and make a meaningful impact on patient care.
Call Coverage & Schedule
Our call coverage schedule is designed to ensure a healthy work-life balance. You'll be required to cover one weekend every four weeks (with mid-level support for hospital rounding), seven major holidays on a rotating basis, and weekday coverage every fourth night (never Friday or Monday attached to a call weekend).
Vacation time is approved on a first-come, first-served basis, with premium weeks rotated among physicians. Additionally, continuous mid-level support is available during office hours daily.
In the unlikely event of a call weekend, Monday is always assigned as a hospital day, ensuring a smooth transition and minimizing office hours.
