Cleanliness and Sanitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Cleanliness and Sanitation Specialist to join our team at Whole Foods Market. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen area.
About the JobThe Cleanliness and Sanitation Specialist will perform all duties related to dishwashing and general kitchen cleanliness. This includes washing, rinsing, and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares. The ideal candidate will also maintain the overall cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
You will assist with kitchen deliveries, including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products. Additionally, you will ensure that the kitchen area is well-organized and meets our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Responsibilities- Dishwashing and Kitchen Cleanliness: Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
- Kitchen Deliveries: Assist with kitchen deliveries, including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
- Kitchen Organization: Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer needs in a timely and effective manner.
- Sales Potential: Maximize sales potential through effective procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow directions and procedures, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $15.00 - $19.70, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plan benefits, eligibility for a store discount, paid time off, and access to other benefit programs.
