Job Responsibilities
As a Culinary Assistant, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining workstations in the kitchen and preparing ingredients for cooking. The role includes basic cooking tasks and monitoring inventory levels.

To thrive in this position, you should be efficient, attentive, and capable of following instructions while working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Setting up and sanitizing kitchen workstations.
- Adhering to prep lists provided by chefs.
- Measuring and preparing ingredients and seasonings for cooking processes.
- Preparing simple dishes, including entrees and salads.
- Ensuring proper storage and accessibility of all food items.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a current food handler's permit.
- Previous experience as a culinary assistant is preferred.
- Knowledge of safe food handling practices is essential.
- Ability to read and comprehend recipes.
- Capacity to work effectively in a team setting.
- Flexibility to work various shifts.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
