About the Role

Weigand Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with experience in the architectural industry to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Design HVAC systems for architecture utilizing both Revit and AutoCAD
  • Perform Engineering assessments and investigations
  • Prepare HVAC specifications and cost estimates
  • Perform Load Calculations and ductwork sizing, and equipment selection
  • Review and respond to RFI's, attend construction progress meetings, and provide punch list and closeout documents
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Architectural Engineering, or Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
  • Work experience within the Architecture/Facilities industry (3+ years)
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is required
  • PE, LEED and RCDD certification is a plus
  • Candidate should possess good communication skills, including technical writing
