Job Summary

As a key member of the Plastipak Holdings team, the Plant Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the plant's leadership on various financial projects. This includes collaborating with the plant manager and controller to ensure financial activities align with corporate policies and directives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and provide insights into actual vs. planned key performance metrics and site budgets
  • Interface closely with the plant manager and controller to support business activities and ensure compliance with corporate policies
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, including monthly and quarterly business reviews, annual budgets, and other business planning initiatives
  • Coordinate and participate in quarter-end and year-end physical inventory audits
  • Determine costs of business activities, such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested by leadership

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience
  • Working knowledge of GAAP
  • Manufacturing experience is preferred
  • Experience with SAP is highly preferred
